Preparation for M-Day

Okay, for the record, today is still Saturday for me.  I'm still awake, and although the clocks have rolled to Sunday, in "me-time" it is still Saturday!

Today Shan and I went shopping for some dorm room stuff.  Tomorrow is "M-day" aka Move in Day.  I can check in anytime between 9a.m. and 5p.m.  I have not yet decided when I will seek out my new habitat.

So, I got a lot of really cool stuff today!  I got basic kitchen gear, new school supplies, and a new BICYCLE!!!  It is a new Schwinn Jaguar, a classic looking navy blue and silver cruiser.  I will post pictures sometime soon of my new darling.

Right now I am a bit nervous about meeting my new roomies and living in a dorm, which I have never done before.  I'm sure everything will be wonderful though.  If I keep a positive attitude, I can make it through anything!

Right now I am also excited about all of this new stuff!  I am ready to use all of my new kitchen gear (I love to cook, and EAT!), organize my school supplie (I'm a bit OCD when it comes to pens, pencils, notecards, and post-its), and ride my new BICYCLE!

I will leave you with some lyrics from Queen:
"BICYCLE! BICYCLE! I want to ride my Bicycle, I want to ride my Bike.  I want to ride my Bicycle, I want to ride my Bike!"

Goodnight all!  I will try to post soon with updates on the dorm and the roomies.  Orientation is on Monday and Tuesday, then I begin school on Wednesday.  I am going to be a busy girl!

That's super exciting! I love buying school supplies (that's actually something I miss doing a lot) lol.

My sister, Al, has a Navy Blue and Silver Shwinn too! I just got a red one recently. Yay for bikes (and Queen!) Good luck on your first day of classes and the whole move in. :)
